The North Face China’s “Never Stop Exploring” is an intricate and complex project shot in Cape Town in the depths of winter by The Network together with the Sweetshop Asia’s brilliant team. The objective was to showcase the strength and durability of North Face’s Thermoball which was tested over four grueling days of extreme weather at a range locations around Cape Town. From mountain ridges and quarries to the urban landscapes and skyscraper summits of the Central Business District, shooting live without motion control the technical challenge of split screen action meant a high degree of in-camera matching and precision from the team. Superheroes who made this possible were John S Park (Director & Editor), Werner Maritz (DOP), Grant Nale (Assistant Director) and Jimmy Chin (The North Face athlete, climber and photographer). 
The shoot will live long in the memory – and the results speak for themselves.
